McClellan
Mountain Springs issue under ambient pressure from one of the largest and deepest
aquifier in northern California. We have used oxygen isotopic analysis and total
absorbed nitrogen to determine that our spring water has not been subjected to
light for many centuries. At over 1.3 million gallons of flow per day (just one
of many springs in the area), it is easy to determine that our spring water has
been circulating inside the earth long before Europeans set foot upon the continent.
Pressure, cold temperature, pressurized mineralization (especially with the vital
minerals potassium and magnesium), and continuous subterranean movement for hundreds
of years prior to surfacing at McClellan Mountain, high above the "Lost Coast",
all contribute to a most active and energized water with a high hydration potential.
In
his book on the importance of adequate hydration to human health, "Healthy
Water for a Longer Life", Dr. Martin Fox outlines his forty years of
"hydration therapy" and the spectacular results that thousands of his
patients experienced simply by drinking a specific amount of pure water each day
for at least 30 days. The formula is simple: start with your body weight, divide
your weight by two, and drink that number of ounces of water each day. For example,
if your body weight is 160 pounds, you would be adequately hydrated by drinking
80 ounces, or about 5 16-oz/.5 liter bottles per day.
Over
80 percent of Dr. Martin Fox's patients reported significant reduction of a variety
of symptoms simply by sticking to a 30-day hydration therapy regimen. In many
cases, his patients responded more positively to hydration therapy than the control
group, which received prescription medication only without hydration therapy.
Much
research has been done since Dr. Martin Fox's hydration therapy was initiated
over forty years ago. The simple conclusion has been reached that maximum hydration
in the body is one of the most important indicators and contributing factors to
optimal cellular functioning. Pure spring water tends to be "active"
in moving nutrients and metabolites into the cells as well as flushing away cellular
waste products. Simply think of "active" or "energized" water
as white-water cascading over a large waterfall; while "inactive", "de-energized",
or "depleted" water is much like water standing in a stagnant pond.
Because
we drink many types of fluids, we tend to make the false assumption that all fluids
hydrate equally. Actually, caffeinated beverages, soft drinks, alcohol, and some
ultra-purified, distilled, and "tap" waters actually lower total body
and cell hydration, which reduces metabolic activity at the cellular level. Water
that is "active", such as most good spring water, maximizes the cellular
hydration potential and is vital for cellular metabolic efficiency.
Worldwide
clinical studies are concluding that drinking adequate amounts of "active"
water (like that from a good spring source) has demonstrated positive effects
on health factors as diverse as athletic performance, cognitive ability, and immune
function.
Active,
energized spring water is the ultimate delivery system for cellular nutrients
and removal of cellular waste products. You need to know the SOURCE of your water
to be able to evaluate its hydration potential. HYDRATION POTENTIAL is vital to
good health. In the near future, all bottled waters may be required to list "hydration
potential" along with sodium and mineral content on the nutrient facts panel.
YOUR
HEALTH IS WHY SOURCE MATTERS.
